Paul's untimely death

After years of artistic inactivity and activity again, myartspacejames-leach,  I recently learned of Paul's death. I knew Paul when he was seven years old. His parents, Wayne and Betty Jean Thiebaud had just purchased a beautiful Victorian Mansion along the Sacramento River near Cortland, California. This house was built in the mid 1800's and was occupied by the original owners, the Johnston family, and had many of the home's original furnishings. The Thiebaud's owned this house for a few years before selling it. It later burned to the ground, and no longer exists.

Paul had a thick brown shock of hair with freckles and a pug nose. He was a cute kid with lots of personality. I was an art student who, by invitation, occupied the old care takers quarters in the basement of this mansion and in exchange mowed the front lawn and baby-set Paul and his half brother Matt, on Friday and Saturday nights when I was available. Twinka, Wayne's daughter from a previous marriage, and Alberdiese occupied the one room house in the back.  Paul may not have remembered me because our time together was short and he was so young, but everyone called him Pauly and we loved and adored  him and I am sad to hear that he has died at such a young age.  myartspacejames-leach
